Hello Gary, your videos are very informative! Thanks for all you do! I have a similar question for one of my friend who is in New York area. He came to the country with F1 visa in 2015 and applied to Asylum in 2017 while still in lawful status, since then the case has been pending and he is working for a company, last year he got a job offer from a company with sponsorship. They did Labor certification and now got the I-40 approved as well. Now waiting for EB2 visa becomes current to apply for I-485. The concern that the company attorney has whether USCIS approve or deny the I-485 for adjusting in the United sates. He also suggested applying for advance parole in case if case get denied in the US, he can travel outside of the US with the parole without Jeopardizing his Asylum case and then will be coming back to the US. But he is also concerned with option B whether he will be admitted back in to the US or not. What are the chances to avoid plan B and adjust the status in the US successfully? Can you please explain to me and how long does it take? Thanks a lot.

My mom filed her i751 jointly with her US. citizen spouse and during the wait time she was eligible to file for naturalization which she did. she attended the interview and passed the test, but when it was time for her i751interview she started having problems in her marriage with her US.citizen spouse and she legally sepereted with him not divorced just for her safety. she later attended her i751 interview alone and she expalined all that happened between her and her spouse and she requested that her case should be converted to a battetred sposed case, which she provided documents to back it up and gave it to the officer A month after her i751 interview she recived a notice in her online account with uscis that her i751 petition was approved and also a notice of oath ceremony too.
